My first encounter with Bristol Cider Co. was at this year’s Bath Christmas Market. it wasn’t exactly hard sell, they had me at hello, to be honest.
The prices were much more sensible than the usual extortionist mugging that I’ve come to expect at this type of venue, so I went for a taster of the traditional “Sixer” which, as advertised, is a slightly dry “medium dry”. There was also a range of other “fruity” varieties on offer, as well as a slightly less potent Cloudy cider at 4.8%.
I was more than happy with my taster, so plumped for a bag of the Sixer (6%).
The nice man from Bristol Cider Co said the cider would last for 3weeks once opened, but sadly it was all gone the same weekend. Never trust a salesman!
All in all, a very tasty and drinkable cider, if you enjoy it on the dry side.
Would certainly buy some again, and would also like to try the cloudy 4.8%.
